Drinking water supply scheme at Kurseong Municipality area

Drinking water supply scheme at 20 wards of Kurseong municipality area under public health engineering department, GTA, Darjeeling.
DESIGN OF WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM:
a) 10 nos of sources have been identified as major sources and 9 nos of sources have been identified as secondary sources.
b) Total action area has been divided into 24 nos of zones based on elevation.
c) Three nos of impounding lakes have been proposed to collect additional monsoon water for the dry season.
d) Seven nos of MCWR have been designed at strategic locations
