LOCATION: Tindharia, Darjeeling dist
Tindharia area is located at Darjeeling District, 29 km from Silliguri &36 km from Darjeeling town. The means of access are Road (Hill cart road) and Darjeeling Himalayan narrow gage train. This area consists of 13 villages.
There is no arrangement for piped supply of potable water in Tindharia Bazar and nearby area. Inhabitants of this area use the River water from near Baghmara village or water carried by the cars from other locations. P.H.E.D, G.T.A Kurseong Division targets to provide piped supply of portable water in order to satisfy basic water requirement of the region.
